To increase the diversity of decks at the top of the Historic metagame, Uro, Titan of Nature’s Wrath is banned in Historic. Omnath, Locus of Creation is currently suspended in Historic, and our data indicates that diversity and interest in the meta would be harmed by reintroducing the card now.

Why did Deathrite shaman get banned?
It is possible that in a given Legacy tournament over half the decks were playing Deathrite Shaman. While the primary reason Deathrite Shaman was banned was to hurt blue decks like Grixis Delver, there is unfortunate splash damage to Elves as well. Elves is the primary non-blue deck where Deathrite Shaman saw play.
Why is Tybalt’s trickery banned?
In Modern, Tibalt’s Trickery has the dubious distinction of being the first card from Kaldheim to be banned in any format. Tibalt’s Trickery is causing upset in Standard too, as countering your own 0-mana spell with it allows you to bring out massive cards way ahead of the curve.
